Our History

In 2001, Eric Loposer, LPO, had a vision of opening his own prosthetic company. With the help of his mom and business partner Kay Loposer, that dream became a reality. Around the time that the tragic 9/11 occurred, a new prosthetic business was established. Originally located in Allen, Texas, the company launched a different kind of prosthetic service to amputees. Eric took his services to his patients – whether in a hospital, rehab facility, or at home. Eric has always maintained personal relationships with his patients. They have grown to trust and respect him as a reliable friend. Many of them know Eric as the guy who makes house calls.

Fast forward to today. Reliant Prosthetics turned 20 years old in September of 2021. Now located near Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, the company is growing and continuing to serve amputees in the Dallas area. Eric still sees patients outside of the office, in hospitals, rehab facilities, and yes, even in their homes. But, through his experience of over 25 years, he knows that the ideal appointment occurs at his clinic. The patient, especially a new amputee, will benefit most by taking his or her first steps inside parallel bars for their optimum outcome and safety.
